Welcome Statement

Capitalizing on its 2013 transformation into the San Fernando Valley Branch of the USGBC-LA Chapter after six years as the Valley Green Team’s Green Building Task Force, the branch is a regional leader to help drive the growth of the green building industry and the sustainability movement in the San Fernando Valley.

Mission

The mission of the San Fernando Valley Branch (SFVB) of the USGBC Los Angeles Chapter is to be the driving force behind the green building industry and the sustainability movement in the region. This dynamic, experienced, member-driven branch is comprised of a diverse group of professionals and companies located in the San Fernando Valley. The SFVB is the go-to resource for Valley residents and businesses to help solve their environmental challenges, connect them to the resources and expertise of the USGBC and its membership and to strategize with this diverse and creative community to make sustainability a regional priority. The SFVB provides leadership for the Valley’s ecologically aware businesses and residents by building relationships with established organizations, organizing timely and informative speaking engagements with industry leaders, coordinating green building events and projects, spearheading cutting-edge case studies and facilitating dynamic networking and educational opportunities to raise the USGBC’s profile throughout the San Fernando Valley.
