End of Year Giving Campaign

This has been a challenging year for all of us, to say the least.

While wildfires are inevitable, the loss of lives and properties need not be. To increase awareness around wildfire mitigating strategies, we launched our Firewise Education and Tours initiative in 2020 to help property owners, policymakers, architects, builders, developers, and landscapers understand the steps we can all take to mitigate wildfire risk.

We need your help to take these programs to the next level in 2021. Together, we can:

1. Ensure property owners know how to protect their properties and firefighter lives,

2. Support those impacted by 2020 fires and still recovering from fires of recent years, focusing on the most economically challenged areas, and

3. Advocate for policies that simultaneously improve the region’s ability to mitigate fire, flood, slide, climate, and drought risk – all while improving human health and social equity.
