Brenden McEneaney, LEED AP BD+C
Brenden McEneaney is the Pacific Region Director for the US Green Building Council, running USGBCâs programs throughout the West Coast. Previously he was the Director for Urban Resilience at the Urban Land Institute, where he oversaw the organizationâs work helping communities to prepare, plan for, absorb, recover from, and more successfully adapt to impacts from climate change.
For 7 years, Mr. McEneaney was responsible for the green building program in the City of Santa Monica. At the City, he developed green building codes, policies, incentive programs, and educational programs and acted as the Cityâs primary technical consultant for construction projects. While with the City of Santa Monica, Mr. McEneaney served as Board Chair of the USGBC-Los Angeles Chapter for two years. Before joining the City, Brenden ran operations for the largest green building materials retailer in southern California and worked with several engineering firms on environmental remediation projects.
Brenden is a LEED AP (BD+C) and has spoken internationally on sustainability, green building, and environmental policy. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies and of Yale University.
