Simple ideas for how general contractors may use our knowledge and leadership to reduce the amount of construction and demolition waste.
About this event
With the power to influence the management of materials that are used and how they are discarded, General Contractors are at the forefront in enacting changes both upstream and downstream in the built environment.
This presentation is intended to spark interest and provide easy and simple ideas for how we as general contractors may use our knowledge and leadership to approach our commitment to reducing the amount of C&D waste generated by our projects entering our landfills.
Sharing my philosophy of a four-step program, we will focus on how to set out a Road Map to instill best practices in proper housekeeping processes and recycling procedures in the reduction of construction waste on our job sites.
Further discussion will focus on potential start up initiatives you may establish in the development of a Pre-Construction and Demolition Recycling Plan.
