This winter marks the 12th anniversary of USGBC-LA’s Annual Sustainable Innovation Awards, and to celebrate we want to send you back to the 1950’s-1960’s to join the fun!
Mark your calendar for our annual Green Gala, an evening of old Hollywood glitz and glam at the festive Taglyan Complex in Hollywood! We look forward to celebrating with you after a year of reconnecting and resurgence.
This is our largest and most important annual fundraising event, supporting our 10 sustainability initiatives impacting more than 15,000 people in our local communities. Your attendance and contribution at this year’s Green Gala will directly fund our mission to continue to make Southern California a more sustainable region for all while we celebrate LA’s leading green buildings.
It’s your night to be a star! Old Hollywood glam attire recommended, but not required.

On behalf of everyone at USGBC-LA, our staff, Board of Directors, Gala Committee, volunteers, and all members of our community, we’d like to thank you for your support and for joining us in celebrating our first in-person Annual Green Gala after a long two years.
The generosity of our community has once again helped provide the needed funding to expand our programs, mentor future leaders, and support our mission in creating a more sustainable region for all.
We had such an exciting event at Union Station in Downtown LA – amazing food, great music, awards ceremony, and fellowship! The Annual Green Gala is our biggest fundraising event, but it’s also a chance to celebrate, reunite, and have some much-needed fun!
USGBC-LA’s 10th Annual Sustainable Innovation Awards (SIA) offer prestige and affirmation of your project team’s commitment to a sustainable built environment. Unlike standardized rating systems, the Sustainable Innovation Awards evaluate merit-based sustainable strategies that demonstrate exemplary performance by going above and beyond credit achievement. The Sustainable Innovation Awards are open to built and un-built projects certified under any sustainability rating system or on track to achieve certification.
